Surgical Instruments

I was lucky enough to be assigned in the “Surgical Instruments Room” for this semester’s Revalida. The following were the instruments I had to name and state the use:

1. Blade Holder

2. Thumb Forceps

3. Ovum Forceps

4. Kelly Clamp

5. Allis Clamp

I had the hardest time identifying instrument #3. It’s very common and I’ve seen it a lot of times but I just couldn’t remember the name. But I managed to answer the other four. Lucky ,eh?

Now, time to review for Tuesday’s Comprehensive Exam. I mean, later. I missed the internet!
