OLA! After almost four months of being on blog hiatus, here I am posting again! A lot had happened since my last update, which I am terribly sorry for (the ramble from my last post, not the recent happenings). There were good news and bad, happy memories and sad. But that's how life works.
I mentioned in my May 4th post that I was reviewing for the board exams for nurses. It ran for a little bit more than three months. To sum it all up, it was exhausting, frustrating, nerve-racking, and sometimes exciting and surprising. It was a roller coaster ride and when it's finally over, you're like, "Wow, I can't believe I survived!"
The worst part was the burden of waiting for the results which lasted for almost 2 months. Imagine the feeling of having butterflies in your stomach each and every time you think of something that will either make or break you. And with each and every time, I mean a couple of times every. single. day. You know it's going to happen. You can't escape. The date is definite. It's like the waiting is going to take your sanity. It's not even funny. I didn't even want to go out with friends and enjoy to release the tension 'cause I was thinking it would jinx everything.
2 moths later... It was surreal. A relief. A breath of fresh air. The congratulations and compliments were overwhelming. I was beyond thankful for everybody. If it weren't for the support of my family, relatives, friends, my Pentagon1 family, and everyone I know, I wouldn't have made it to the list of new registered nurses.
Last September 29 I was able to claim my license from the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC). Let me show you, THE UNRIPE2 FRUIT OF MY HARDWORK:
Someone told me I look like some Glee star. Do I? Oh stop.. (he he he)
Note: I didn't want this to be a long read so I'd save the other news for the next update.
1 my review center 2 I'm still inexperienced and looking for a job so my license is technically still a virgin
Hi! I bet some of you know that I recently graduated from college and currently reviewing for the upcoming Nurse Licensure Examination happening on the 3rd and 4th day of July. I'm beyond overwhelmed to still see marks from people who still visit my blog albeit the idle state of it for more than a month now. Though my absence has been obviously frequent since last year, it makes me more than happy to still see comments on my recent posts and messages on my Cbox. I really appreciate it.
I'm typing this whole thing using my phone. I try to stay away from the computer coz I couldn't withstand the temptation. It's like my 30mins runs like 5 minutes so I would have to extend it to an hour or several hours to feel satisfied. Not good. At least here, surfing is limited especially with no wifi available.
I hope everybody's doing fine. Let me take this chance to ask you to include me in your prayers. A good friend, Nay Mia, once told me that her prayers would be useless if I won't do my part. Studying hard and doing my best during the exams, that is. But I still believe that it will at least guide me through passing.
And also, do not forget to pray before you vote on May 10th. This is another chance (might be our last) to choose the most capable person to run our country and help us, Filipinos. Apply this even in choosing your town's Mayor or provincial/city Governor. I consider myself one of the Greenies (G1BO supporters). Pro-G1BO or not, let's respect each other's choice coz, like you, I have my reasons.
Gos bless us all, our country, and the whole world. I'll be back posting again maybe mid-July. Take care, everyone!
If I would enumerate the troubles I have to deal with that concern this blog, one of those would be working on that 'About Me' section. I am really bad at describing myself. There’s one time I visited different blogs not to read their entries but to see how well they did on that section. “Do I really know me?” I asked myself one time.
Yesterday, right before lunch break, our professor in Leadership and Management came up with an activity that would show how well we know our own self particularly our strengths and weaknesses. It would also showcase our strengths and weaknesses from the view of the members of our group1. I think this is always utilized in team building, personal development activities and whatnot so others may be familiar with this or may have done this already.
The instructions were: - form a circle of your group - get a piece of paper and write your name - fold the paper into three: column 1, write ‘strengths’; column 2, write ‘weaknesses’; column 3, write ‘areas for improvement’ - for the first entry, you are to write one entry on each column. What do you think is your strength, weakness, and the area or your attribute that you would like to improve? - when finished, everyone will have to pass the paper to the person on the right and answer this: Pertaining to the owner of the paper, what do you think is his/her strength, weakness, and area/attribute that you would like to be improved? - continue passing until your paper comes back to you.
So I have my paper scanned and the image is right there on the left. And of course, I would like to react on some entries written.
Strengths: Of being understanding and patient or, yes, “patientious” – I think have mentioned Miko on some of my posts here. I would like to say that he intended translating pesensyosa that way. He can be so funny at times. Anyway, I think I inherited these two from my father. Most of my friends have never seen me angry. I just hate fights, conflicts, and arguments so I stay away from all of that as much as possible by understanding others’ points and lengthening my patience.
Of being responsible and good leader – it’s like a breath of fresh air reading those entries because it only tells that I’m doing well. Though it’s a bit contrary ‘cause I was so quiet and a little ineffective yesterday maybe because of a deficient sleeping time I had the night before. I reviewed notes that basically weren’t asked during the quiz we had first thing in the morning. Then I was depressed even more.
Weaknesses: I wrote rejection for the weakness column. Rejection in general, that is. On the very least, one instance is when I see someone I know approaching as I walk by the street or hallway. I will have second thoughts if I should greet the person because I’m worried that the person won’t greet me back. This is one reason why people usually mistaken me as snobbish. Toxic times, CIs (clinical instructors), work overload, and mood changes are parts of being the person in charge of the group. Loneliness/ being a loner are really what I am scared about. Not being able to show real feelings/emotions, as written by my good friend, Rhom, is kind of like my strength and weakness at the same time. Kit is one of those who know how really important my family is for me so I’m not surprised that she wrote “family problems” as one weakness. And boys, if you’ll ask me this time of my life, don’t really bother me. Nice try, Oli! :P
Areas for improvement: For almost 4 years of living in a dormitory without my family and going back home only on weekends, it’s not enough to tell I have already become independent. The only time I can label myself that is when I stop spending my parents’ money. And I think that time is too early to visualize if I will consider what Maude and Kit have to say on the areas I have yet to improve, that is saving or budgeting. Most of the times I’m in control but some times I’m not. It’s like I’ve been trying to save all my life but it doesn’t seem to work. My bank account deserves a boo considering that I am already twenTEEN2 years old. I really have to work on time management. I’m not really good at socialization and public speaking but I love meeting new people. Xtian put “diet” because he’s macho and mayabang. Haha. Jesson, my seatmate, wrote “Improve mo skills mo sa pagpapaputok ng thumb ko,” I don’t know how to explain this but I have a way on snapping his thumb that he enjoys so much. He requests 4 to 5 times a day and I have to do it 4 to 5 times a day on each thumb. Sometimes I tease him that next time I would put charge on it ‘cause, really, if he would pay me for it I would’ve been rich now. Haha
So that’s it. Wow, long entries come once in a blue moon in my blog! Enjoy the remaining days of November! Isn’t the cold breeze great? :)
[1] The group that we have during hospital duties. There are four groups in our section composing of 12 members each.
[2] Give me more time to accept that I’m a teen no more. :)
Imagine when the closest person to you has started to ignore you like you don't exist in his/her own world because of something wrong you've done. Scary right? That's what happened again between me and my mom just earlier. You can throw that oh-it's-natural-for-a-mother-and-a-daughter-to-fight or it-happens-to-everyone sermons but for me, it's getting more and more difficult to patch things in between every time it happens.
It's usual, I get it. The last time it happened (which was, by far, the worst), I remember thinking of becoming vulnerable the next time it happens(which I hoped wouldn't!) but nothing's just the same when the person you do (insert crazy stuff here) with suddenly treats you like a stranger, a passer by. The feeling seemed as though the world turned a hundred and eighty degrees. And I was scared to think that I will be leaving for another one week to study without us being OK. I imagined coming back home and she wouldn't even ask how my week had been. I imagined a lonely birthday without her greeting me with her hugs and kisses.
So I didn't let the day pass without me saying and showing how sorry I was. I cried (inevitable. that's how I am when I apologize). And being the understandable and forgivable mother that she has always been, she accepted my apologies.
I just hope once again that the same scenario wont happen once more - be it with my mom or my dad. I hate the feeling.
On the other hand... I am really impressed and inspired by the unity and strength the Filipino people have been showing after the typhoon Ondoy devastation. One step at a time and we all can survive this challenge.
Still, God bless our motherland and us, her people.
I've been meaning to update this blog as frequent as I can but I'm having second thoughts every time I start typing a new post. I can't recall how many times I was debating if I should post about a random day that was (which would most probably be a random read for all) or just wait for that interesting day I can share to everyone. 3 draft posts, all of them awaiting to be deleted. I actually thought about deleting this blog. But no.
And for an update, I'll make it brief. Here are the things that made this week cool, fun and inspiring:
1. stitched a kid's knee. My first time! 2. inserted an IV catheter to a girl's vein successfully 3. being told that my courage is very inspiring 4. played a guy's role complete with a male outfit and mustache for our El Filibusterismo shoot 5. helped a cute little child on the street of Intramuros 6. fell in love with the sunset once again 7. witnessed Mall of Asia's fireworks display the first time 8. arrival of my cousin from abroad; clan get-together
I have a lot to blab about but I can't organize my thoughts so I'll just save it for another day. Anyhoo, I feel like telling random stuff so let me do it this time.
I've recently been mopping so hard. I just got back to using the computer from mopping the floor. We don't have helper every vacation. Since my mom and I are both in a break, we have free time helping each other minding the house chores. Aside from washing the dishes I'm also assigned to mop the floor. Believe me, it hasn't been an easy work when it comes to these floor tiles. The color of the tiles makes little dirt so visible. And my younger brothers always forget to wear their inside slippers so when they step on it I have to wipe it all over again. Pfft. I hate too see footprints on it. I'm a perfectionist at times. :D So to save myself from spending the whole day on mopping, I just made my work easier. I posted a note on the door which says:
I know.. This just made them laugh but I'm DEYYYM SERIOUS!!
I'm the new leader. This is about our group that we have for our hospital duties. I actually have a draft post for this matter. Its just not my nature coz I hate giving commands to people but my group's been asking me to accept the position coz they're sick of our current leader. So yeah, I accepted it but for this term only. They agreed.
I want to be a cook! I've been the pretty overused sous chef of my mother. Now I've been wanting to cross out that 'sous' and become the 'chef'. No, no, we're not professionals. We're just fantasizing our home as one of the best restaurants the world has ever had. LOL. Luckily, my mom let me cook our viand for lunch last Friday. I was so happy that I took a picture of it.
The dish was easy to cook, a professional chef can do it in a snap. It looks sloppy but anyway. Haha
PLURKING. I made a personalized layout for my Plurk page.
I'm supposed to put bubbles coz the girl is obviously blowing. Now she looks lunatic coz I became lazy when I tried to upload it on my page and found out it doesn't fit. Cute, eh? I love rainbow. :)
Summer break is over. I'll be going back to my dormitory later this evening or tomorrow morning. I'll be missing home and the free internet access everyday. I'm back to attending patients and working on piles of papers. No graveyard shifts, pleaseee!
HAPPY EASTER SUNDAY! Have you found the EGGnogs? I love God and His Son. :)
If you know Avril Lavigne's song, Complicated, that'll explain how this post will run. Do not bother remembering the lyrics, just stick to the title. Now you've been warned.
"All religions are the same: religion is basically guilt, with different holidays."
~Cathy Ladman
Dear God,
My parents got married in this small church. I was baptized in that church. My two brothers got baptized in that same church. I grew up attending masses there but I was wondering why my father rarely sit with us during the ceremony. With two young boys in white polo shirt and black slack pants backing him up, he was always in front of the altar reading Latin words for everyone. I was clueless why he was regarded as the reverend. There was another man with a daughter same as my age. I was curious if she was also thinking why people also call her daddy like that. And I wondered where my friends were. They were supposed to attend mass just like what our teacher always told us.
As I age things became more vague. My answer to my teacher's question "what is your religion?" has given rise to one question my classmates have always asked me: "Ano yun?"And I always had to be ready for a long explanation I wasn't sure about. I learned from my friends that priests weren't supposed to have a family; that they live in the church. And they said they are Roman Catholics. I don't remember calling myself or any other person in our church like that. They said they celebrate your birth on the 25th of December and we celebrate it every 15th. I had no idea about the things that they were saying. Their prayers, the names of those nicely sculpted holy figures of patrons and stuff in their church. I knew we have two in our church, one small at the right wing of the church and one large figure at the altar. That was your cute little baby.
One night when I was still in grade school my father and I had a serious talk explaining to me the things I had to know about our religion. Just the right time when I was very confused. Then I learned that our religion was different. Our beliefs were quite different. We have similarities with Catholic's beliefs but we also have differences. I remember him saying that there's no hell with sea of fire. He said hell is a condition when a family doesn't have foods to eat, water to drink, and a house to live in. That conversation answered most of my questions and relieved my curiosity.
But not for long...
The church seats used to be full every mass. As years passed by the population diminished and more seats were getting vacated. The place was always dominated by the elderly. Some people appear only when there's a celebration, our Christmas at 12.15 for example. Those people who I rarely see in our church attend mass in the Catholic Church, that's what I learned. But why? Did that mean I could go with my friends when they ask me to attend Simbang Gabi (Misa de Gallo) with them? I've always wanted to do that but my father wouldn't allow me. Apparently we don't do that tradition. And we won't attend mass in the Catholic Church like what those in our religion do. I don't know. I think my faith is now lacking.
But don't worry 'cause above all these issues I still believe you exist. I lack faith in our church but not in you. Our rituals are not the same as RC's but I am sure we share the same God. I still believe it's your will why I still have a life to live. All these things I have I owe them to you. I'm no perfect at all. I have my own share to the sins of the world. I won't ever forget the things you had to face just to pay for the wrong things others have done. I salute you for that. I admire you for that. I am sorry. I haven't been that nice to you but you still chose to love me. I have a great family. I'm studying at a nice school in Manila. I can see a great future for me. I have wonderful parents. I have the toughest and most generous mother on earth who's been working so hard to provide the needs of her family. I have the bravest and strongest father on earth who's been unbelievably kicking his disease's ass for over 5 years now. I have younger brothers who remain cute and sweet despite of their bullheadedness. I have true friends who always stick to me when I'm up or down. I am happy. My family is happy. I may have problems but I know you won't give me what I can't overcome. All of these I thank you.
This is going to kill me soon. It's been less than a week and I find myself doing unproductive things in between major meals: net surfing, watching TV, sleeping or just lying on bed until my back hurts. It's like I am only waiting for the meals. WTF. And I realized, these things are getting me nowhere but 6 feet under. Being a nursing student I know that this sedentary lifestyle (the worst type, I guess) I am having will cause me heart problems in general. Not now but soon.
I've been planning things since yesterday. Goal is to stop all the crap and start being healthy. At first I was doubting if this will work. Think that of a writer. Is it going to be another draft when there's more thinking and willingness needed or soon become trash when he thinks there is no sense of keeping it anymore? But I guess all I need is determination.
1. Eat healthy My friend's been engaging on a high-fiber diet but according to him he usually feels weak . It's been only four days and the lost of weight is really obvious. He said he eats oatmeal every breakfast, avoid eating meat, and takes fruits and vegetables in high amounts. I don't think I have mentioned this already but I am the leader of the Anti-Vegetables Movement[1]. Well I used to loathe them (except potato) but I've learned to eat some recently. Monggo[2] (mung bean), squash, papaya[3], and string beans to mention a few. I do love fruits but I hardly consume one. Well, I'll try the high-fiber diet minus the weakness, because I plan not to eat no protein at all. Just a bit. Starting tomorrow I will start the day with oatmeal/bread and water or milk. No rice, and definitely NO COFFEE (huwaaaaaa). Then I will eat a regular meal for lunch. I will eat a small meal or just fruits for dinner. In between meals when I feel hungry, I will drink water as an apetite suppressant. Would this be effective? IDK.
2. Exercise regularly I am really a noob at exercising. I don't know the right exercise for a particular body part. I want to burn fats from my upper and lower extremities. Well, my actual plan is just to sweat everyday so I might as well make use of our dying treadmill in our garage. 30 minutes will be enough. I will also incorporate arm and leg exercises.
3. Do house chores Sometimes I hate having someone doing the chores for us. When I know that someone's here to do the wiping, the brooming, and the washing, I do nothing at all. This is another form of exercise. Instead of having backaches due to long hours of lying on bed, I will have backaches due to lifting and all. Tomorrow I will start with my bedroom. I've been neglecting it for a few months now. It's always locked. I don't sleep there, I don't even do a quick visit. "May multo na yata na natutulog sa kwarto ko," I said to my mom yesterday.
So there.. Those are just three of my major plans. I hope all my plans will continuously be brought into action this time. Focus. Discipline. Determination. and a lot of prayers!!! :D
P.S As you can see, I'm into the footnote thingy now. I got this idea from Felisa's blog[4]. I thought I might use it 'cause I usually have side comments for everything I mention. I don't like seeing my paragraphs cluttered with open and close parentheses. Credit for Felisa. :)
[1] Keeeeeeeedddeeeeeng! :D [2] I'm not really sure if it's a vegetable 'cause a friend told me "it's a bean". She confused me. But what's important is that I've learned to eat it. It's actually my new favorite! [3] A fruit. But it used to be a part of my Eeew List and now its on my Yum! List. :D [4] One of my daily reads! :)
Yesterday was my BIG f-ing day. I was thinking of letting it all go and to not allow it to affect me but it just doesn’t leave so I thought maybe bursting this all out would make me feel better. I guess this is now the time to attest why I created this blog and give justice as to why I chose wordysilence as my blog’s id name.
What happened yesterday was one example of a situation from which all my thoughts about are all kept inside. Thanks for the idea of having this blog, I can type it all out without having someone get irritated by listening to all my dramas.
Defensive might be the best word to describe me for the succeeding blah blah’s I will type but I do not really intend to be like that.
So… I SUCK-ED at where I stood.
One thing I hate about myself is that I want everything to turn out well but even when I notice that it’s leading through the wrong path I just ignore it. What’s annoying is when it’s all over and all mischief were done I end up saying what I call THE LOSER LINE,
“I should’ve done better.”
I didn’t have the power. I don’t have any power. If I do, it’s never my nature anymore to use it. The eagerness of using it has left me for a long time. The essence of it has been washed in my head. I’m past this thing since I entered high school. Maybe because of competition. Maybe because I thought somebody was better than me. After realizing that, I decided to lie low. Halfway of my teenage life they saw my potential so they trusted and picked me. I accepted it and did my best to not let them down. In the end, though everybody believed I did well, the L line was all I had to say.
What hurt the most was the re-appointment looked as if it was intended to just kick me out of the line. Apparently it really wasn’t the idea but it seemed like it, it felt like it. And I knew that most, if not all, noticed that too.
I’m sorry that the communication had not been very effective. I’m sorry that I didn’t believe I also have the power to rule everyone. I’m sorry I didn’t meet all your expectations. And I’m sorry that I did all that had been asked for me to do. If all that’s lacking for me to be considered as dependable was for all my work to be “pronounced”, well, sorry but I believe I didn’t have to do that. And I knew I had the right thing in my mind.
It’s over and I’m so glad that it is finally over. After clicking the publish button, what happened will be put into trash and my world will continue to circle around my actual goal.
I answered Blogthings' What Does Your Sleeping Position Say About You? Quiz. The result was:
You are calm and rational person with a good deal of balance in your life. Friends consider you to be kind, caring, and truly loyal. You are easy going and trusting. However, you are too sensible to fall for mind games. Open to the world, you are not afraid to be yourself.
If you don't get enough sleep, you are: Able to cope
It's hard to sleep next to you because: You're a bed hog
Well, I usually sleep on my side just like most people do. Medically, it is called the Sim's Position. Here's how it looks like:
Just one hell of a board. One freaking bulletin board. It had this power of drawing every third year student by its side just to boast over the proof of a very disappointing news.
One student was sweating; striving hard to reach the board just to be able to see what was written. She didn’t want to take even a peek but she had to. Just when she managed to get in front of it, she couldn’t believe what she saw: her own name in line with unfamiliar ones. Then good times flashed back through her head. Tiring days at the hospital, sleepless nights dealing with piles of paper works and pending case presentations, certain fights fueled up by misunderstandings and disagreements, big sighs and overwhelming smiles after a long day full of major exams, goofing around the mall or elsewhere just to celebrate their work-free day. All she, with such gratefulness, has shared with this one group, with this one class. One crazy class..
When the idea of reshuffling was first brought up in the middle of the semester a lot disagreed. Institute announced it was not sure, temper eventually slowed down and gone astray so everyone thought it wouldn’t push through. Then just yesterday, the day of the grade slip distribution, the unexpected happened. One student was crying. One student was angry. Another was sad and trying to put everything inside. Yes. The sections have been reshuffled without us being notified EARLY. All of us were expecting that the class we had this semester would be the same class we would have for the next semester. Everyone was disappointed. It was just unfair that they did a last minute announcement -- an announcement that they should’ve disseminated at an early time because we believe that it was our right.
As I go home, I was trying hard not to think about it just as if I was not affected. Group text messages from my group mates saying their thankyous and goodbyes suddenly filled my inbox. Then a friend from the same institute opened about how she was disappointed by the institute’s decision. Just this afternoon I checked my e-mail and read the “Daily Digest” from our batch’s group site. Some students have posted their personal rants and raves about the issue. I could feel their anger as I read what they had to say. I didn’t reckon that it would result to such a big dilemma. It has really become a BIG issue for most of the students.
Truth be told, it is also saddening for my part. I have tied a nice bond with my group mates and shared such enjoyable moments with our class and the thought of not having them as my classmates/group mates once again makes me sad. But along those rants from those who firmly disagree, I personally think everything takes place with a purpose. If you are to be drawn away from the persons whom you’ve shared good memories with, be optimist about it. Think of it as an opportunity of discovering and doing new things and when the time comes you’ll see each other again, don’t you think it would be nice to sit with those people, sip a cup of coffee, and just inspire each other with things, good or bad, that happened when you were apart? As you live every day, you’ll come across different types of people -- people who will come along and leave sooner or later. That’s how life is. Everything is transitory. Everything will eventually come to an end.
My mother's been constantly telling me I look pale. I have always ignored what she's saying not because I never cared but because I don't want to reckon the condition she's been hoping not to happen to any of her loved one again.
I am pertaining to my father. He has this disease called End Stage Renal Disease (ESRD). Its a disease caused by my father's hypertension. To make it brief and to stop you from being curious, its a disease when our kidneys temporarily or permanently fail to work on its normal function -- that is to remove waste products and fluid from our blood. And because my father's kidney can't do that, he has to undergo hemodialysis. FYI, it is a lifetime procedure that involves big money. In my father's condition, it has to be done twice a week.
Why are we so worried? We were informed that if my father's illness has been there since he was young, the disease would most likely be acquired by his child, particularly his daughter. Sadly, I am his only daughter. Paleness is one of the signs of renal failure. I occasionally experience one other symptom too. Though other signs don't seem to be observable -- there was nothing other than those two -- I know its too early to foresee that. You may think that paleness may be caused by my dislike over vegetables (except potatoes!), by staying up so late, by bathing late in the afternoon or at night (it will cause your blood pressure to go down), or by my lack of exercise, I still can't keep myself from thinking that something is wrong.
I've been wishing and praying that this was nothing serious, or nothing close to my father's illness or any other serious illnesses. I pray to our Lord that he'll help me to practice a healthy lifestyle. And I hope my father's condition would continue to be well, and that my mother's kidney stone would be gone, and that my two brothers would be healthy always.
It’s one rainy Saturday afternoon. I’m not surprised with the falling rain. Summer just got so weird since last year. I’m happy though – not with the rain pouring during summer but with the cold breeze surpassing the heat I feel everyday. YAY!
Hay, since this blog of mine has started I was not able to post here some of the past happenings in my life. And that is why I’m going to update you, my readers (do I have, anyway? Haha), about everything that has happened since this year started.
Let us start with February since I really can’t remember any interesting events last January (except the New Year’s Day of course). So here..
Feb 14th. – I DIDN’T HAVE ANYONE TO DATE WITH (pertaining to an opposite sex). Since this occasion fell on a Thursday (our Related Learning Experience day), I spent it with my classmates, clinical instructors, the community people, and our (Erik and I) foster family in Brgy. Baliwag, Cavite. It was BKET (Bella, Kc, Ethel, Tin) MEAL’s first year anniversary as well. Woohoo.
Feb 21st. – Our Community Presentation Day. – After all the good and bad experiences, we were finally able to present everything we’ve worked hard for.
March 28th. – After two years of studying in FEU, everything, as in EVERYTHING, has paid off as my friends informed me that they saw my name on the list of students who qualified for the Institute of Nursing. It only means one thing; I can still continue my third year in FEU. YAAAAY! It reeeeally made my day. XD
May 3rd. – My parent’s 20th anniversary. Spent the day at school cuz it’s the first day of summer class. It sucks because I expected irregular classes, but guess what? Quiz agad bukas!!!
I am spending this day doing all online stuff cuz tomorrow will be a day spent for reviewing, practicing, and reviewing, and reviewing.
I have been working for this site’s templates for weeks but, as you can see, none of my works are seen here. Hah! I promise, before classes start on June, this will have my very first self-made layout.
I saw the link at Teentalk. Posters say that this Personality test is quite accurate so I tried it. Here's the result I've got.
Welcome Ma. Christine San Diego, here is your handwriting analysis. Ma. Christine uses judgment to make decisions. She is ruled by her head, not her heart. She is a cool, collected person who is usually unexpressive emotionally. Some may see her as unemotional. She does have emotions but has no need to express them. She is withdrawn into herself and enjoys being alone. The circumstances when Ma. Christine does express emotions include: extreme anger, extreme passion, and tremendous stress. If someone gets her mad enough to tell her off, she will not be sorry about it later. She puts a mark in her mind when someone angers her. She keeps track of these marks and when she hits that last mark she will let them know they have gone too far. She is ruled somewhat by self-interest. All her conclusions are made without outside emotional influence. She is very level-headed and will remain calm in an emergency situation. In a situation where other people might get hysterical, she has poise. Ma. Christine will work more efficiently if given space and time to be alone. She would rather not be surrounded by people constantly. In a relationship, she will show her love by the things she does rather than by the things she says. Saying "I love you" is not a needed routine because she feels her mate should already know. The only exception to this is if she has logically concluded that it is best for her mate to hear her express her love verbally.
Ma. Christine is not subject to emotional appeals. If someone is selling a product to her, they will need to present only the facts. They should present them from a standpoint of her sound judgment. She will not be taken in by an emotional story about someone else. She will meet emergencies without getting hysterical and she will always ask "Is this best for me?"
People that write their letters in an average height and average size are moderate in their ability to interact socially. According to the data input, Ma. Christine doesn't write too large or too small, indicating a balanced ability to be social and interact with others.
Ma. Christine will be candid and direct when expressing her opinion. She will tell them what she thinks if they ask for it, whether they like it or not. So, if they don't really want her opinion, don't ask for it!
In reference to Ma. Christine's mental abilities, she has a very investigating and creating mind. She investigates projects rapidly because she is curious about many things. She gets involved in many projects that seem good at the beginning, but she soon must slow down and look at all the angles. She probably gets too many things going at once. When Ma. Christine slows down, then she becomes more creative than before. Since it takes time to be creative, she must slow down to do it. She then decides what projects she has time to finish. Thus she finishes at a slower pace than when she started the project.
She has the best of two kinds of minds. One is the quick investigating mind. The other is the creative mind. Her mind thinks quick and rapidly in the investigative mode. She can learn quicker, investigate more, and think faster. Ma. Christine can then switch into her low gear. When she is in the slower mode, she can be creative, remember longer and stack facts in a logical manner. She is more logical this way and can climb mental mountains with a much better grip.
Ma. Christine is a practical person whose goals are planned, practical, and down to earth. This is typical of people with normal healthy self-esteem. She needs to visualize the end of a project before she starts. she finds joy in anticipation and planning. Notice that I said she plans everything she is going to do, that doesn't necessarily mean things go as planned. Ma. Christine basically feels good about herself. She has a positive self-esteem which contributes to her success. She feels she has the ability to achieve anything she sets her mind to. However, she sets her goals using practicality-- not too "out of reach". She has enough self-confidence to leave a bad situation, yet, she will not take great risks, as they relate to her goals. A good esteem is one key to a happy life. Although there is room for improvement in the confidence catagery, her self-perception is better than average.
Ma. Christine issarcastic. This is a defense mechanism designed to protect her ego when she feels hurt. She pokes people harder than she gets poked. These sarcastic remarks can be very funny. They can also be harsh, bitter, and caustic at the same time.
Ma. Christine has a healthy imagination and displays a fair amount of trust. She lets new people into her circle of friends. She uses her imagination to understand new ideas, things, and people.

Anyhooo.. Our computer is working again. Guess there will be more time to post my daily blahs. Till next time! :)
